Join us to celebrate the launch of the new Open.ed.ac.uk website!

In line with the University mission to create, disseminate, and curate knowledge, Learning, Teaching, and Web Services are expanding Open Education Resource (OER) support services to encourage greater uptake and use of OERs across the University.

OERs are digitised teaching and learning resources that reside in the public domain or have been released by the copyright owner under an intellectual property licence (e.g. Creative Commons) that permits their use or re-purposing (re-use, revision, remixing, redistribution) by others.

The launch will include an introduction to OERs and presentations from Professor Clive Greated, Professor Neil Turner, and Dr Ellen Spaeth, on their experience creating and sharing OERs for teaching.

Tea and coffee will be provided, along with the opportunity to explore and provide feedback on the new website.
