Open Education SIG: What next for JISC and UKOER in a post-Jorum world?

With the announcement of the retirement of the Jorum service, the UKOER community and indeed the international OER community have been interested to know what this will really mean.

This webinar will adress these questions by providing an update on the process to retire Jorum and also the status of its resources post-closure. An overview of the new Jisc Content and App Store and how this product will will deliver OER with a new approach will also be presented.

Siobhán Burke is the OER Service Manager for Jisc, running both the Jorum and Hairdressing Training services, working in the Learning, Teaching and Professional Skills team for 3 years. Previously, Siobhán worked for 6 years at the University of Manchester Library and had responsibility for delivering electronic resources to the entire university.
